A nephew of the Dalai Lama and 'died last night in Florida hit by a car during a march to raise awareness among Americans about the need' of Tibetan independence from China. Jigme K. Norbu (45 years) and 'was hit by an SUV while walking on the white line side of a road ascorrimento fast in the same direction of traffic. The driver of the SUV, a man who was carrying also the son of five years, not 'been for the time being charged with anything. Norbu lived in Bloomington, Indiana, was an activist group for human rights and had just left for a peace march to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the failed Tibetan revolt against Chinese. He was the son of the last of the brothers of the Dalai Lama in the past and had already 'taken part in similar marches in the United States. The Dalai Lama has visited Bloomington several times: the city' at about 80 miles from Indianapolis and 'in fact the center of an important Buddhist center and a famous temple.
